these are two characters in the keys to the kingdom series by Garth nix...

the big guy with the wings is the new Monday's noon that was dusk but was given the position of noon because he helped out the new monday and the small guy is actually a girl and her name is suzy turquoise blue and she also helped out the new monday and was then named monday's tierce by the will...and i still don't know what a tierce is so don't ask but please enlighten me as to what it is if you do know!

p.s...noon is not an angel but as he is a high class denizen of the house (that's the magical dimension that mirrors ours...sorta where all this takes place) and suzy is holding a pair of paper wings cause she doesn't have a pair of her own...basically all she hasta do is say some kind of spell thiny and they turn into detachable wings!

i really like this drawing, something just makes me keep looking over it, awesome job. I guess it helps also thati have read the book(s) but still, great stuff

then I guess the only bit of critique I have is maybe you could shade his hair or place it in from of him. It's just that his hair melded in with his wings and it was hard to tell what was what. Other than that, you did catch his personality well and continue with your work. I might want to commission you in the future...
